All clients are required to review and sign this document prior to any grooming services. Signing indicates full understanding and agreement to the policies outlined below.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy
At JenniFUR’s, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and we do our best to accommodate your schedule. However, please note that repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in the loss of appointment privileges or require prepayment for future bookings.
To help you stay on track, we send multiple reminders leading up to your appointment, including one an hour before your scheduled time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, but before 5 p.m. on the previous day, will incur a 50% fee.
Cancellations made overnight or on the day of the appointment, as well as no-shows, will be charged 100% of the service fee for the missed appointment, as it’s typically too late to schedule another dog in your spot.

Safety & Comfort
JenniFUR’s prioritizes pet safety and comfort. Muzzles or other safety equipment may be used when necessary to ensure a safe grooming experience. If a pet becomes overly stressed or aggressive, grooming may be paused or stopped for their well-being.

Appointments & Delays
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. JenniFUR’s operates by appointment only and offers one-on-one grooming services. Early arrivals of more than 5 minutes may not be accommodated. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled and applicable fees may apply. Each appointment time is reserved exclusively for your pet.

Aggressive Pets
Pets displaying aggression (or with a known bite history) cannot be accepted for grooming. If a pet becomes unsafe to handle during the appointment, grooming will be stopped immediately, and a fee up to 100% of the service cost will be charged.

Special Handling
Pets requiring extra care due to size, coat, age, behavior, or medical needs may incur a special handling fee.

Pre-Booking
Consistent grooming every 4–8 weeks helps maintain coat health and ensures stable pricing. Irregular appointments or frequent cancellations may result in price adjustments, and rescheduling options may be limited based on availability.

Matted Coats & Pre-Shaving
De-matting can be very uncomfortable and will only be performed if the pet can safely tolerate the process. If the coat is excessively matted or overgrown this will require a full shave-down. These services require additional time and care, and therefore incurs an additional charge.

Photo Release
JenniFUR’s Grooming may take photos to showcase grooming results and use these images for marketing purposes on social media and the business website. By signing below, clients grant permission for their pet’s photos to be used unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payment
Prices vary based on breed, size, coat condition, and behavior. Payment is due at the time of service. Credit/debit card payments include a processing fee. Cash and checks are accepted with no extra charge. Returned checks incur a $35 fee plus any bank fees.

Proof of Rabies Vaccination
Photo proof of current rabies vaccination must be provided before the first appointment and updated after each renewal.

Pet Illness
Pets showing signs of illness, parasites, or other contagious conditions will not be groomed and may be refused service. Pets displaying symptoms of illness should have their appointments rescheduled. Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice, and late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

Flea Discovery
If fleas are discovered during a grooming appointment, an all-natural flea shampoo treatment will be required to ensure the health and comfort of all pets that enter the salon. The treatment includes a thorough cleansing and coat coverage to eliminate fleas and prevent further infestation. Additional fees will apply for this service to cover the cost of products, time, and sanitation procedures.

Anal Gland Expression
External expression of the anal glands is available upon request for an additional fee. Persistent or recurring gland problems should be evaluated and treated by a veterinarian

Health Issues
Grooming can sometimes reveal or worsen existing health conditions. JenniFUR’s Grooming is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, allergic reactions, or injuries resulting from matting, old age, or underlying health issues.

Brachycephalic (Flat-Faced Breeds)
Flat-faced pets may have breathing difficulties under stress. The owner acknowledges being informed of grooming risks and accommodations for these breeds.

Emergencies
In case of a medical emergency, JenniFUR’s Grooming may seek veterinary care if you’ cannot be reached or time is of the essence. The client authorizes treatment and accepts responsibility for related costs.
